All garden buildings must be installed onto a firm, level and square base to ensure their stability and the correct operation of doors and opening windows. Suitable bases are concrete, slabs and solid platforms, and in the case of greenhouses, a prefabricated aluminium base on a concrete and/or brick plinth.
